Hi,
hat irgendwer schonmal versucht, ob WaveBackup auch auf den kleinen Waves oder dem Wave II läuft? ❗
Has anyone here tried if WaveBackup works with the small waves or Wave II also??
Patrick
6. März 2011 um 10:53 Uhr #1653PatrickAdministratorok, I own an Wave 723 now, and i can say, WaveBackup works on that model also, with little limitations.
First of all, you have to make sure, TKFileExplorer mode is active.
KeyPad->*#197328640#
-> [6] Common
-> [3] USB Configuration
-> [1] TKFileExplorer – ON [] (twice!)
-> # -> ‚Back‘Problem is, the 723 does not answer to the normal AT commands, as the Wave I does. You can activate AT Commands in the service menu, but the it seems TkFileexplorer does not work anymore …. so, when using wavebackup, after making connection, you’ll have no confirmation of connected device, but file explorer and backup should work fine.
I guess this will be the case for other wave family models too!

19. Mai 2011 um 04:32 Uhr #1754AnonymInaktivHello,
I am having a problem here using Wavebackup. It does not recognize my phone. I am using a S8500 wave 1.2, Windows 7 64 Bit OS. When I open Wavebackup & choose COM1, it just hangs & nothing happens. Is there anything else which I need to do before I open Wavebackup. I have tried KIES Mode & USB Debugging mode in Mobile. Help would be appreciated.

Its working now, I used COM10 & it worked. But how do I restore the apps back to the phone after Hard Reset.
19. Mai 2011 um 06:00 Uhr #1751PatrickAdministratorWaveBackup does not backup the Apps itself, only settings, savegames and so on, and at the moment you have to copy these files back manually to your phone to restore them.

8. August 2011 um 12:24 Uhr #1780PatrickAdministratorIst das Häkchen bei ‚Nur bekannte Apps anzeigen‘ an oder aus?
8. August 2011 um 14:16 Uhr #1779WernerTeilnehmerSch………!!!
Da war mein Fehler. Das Häkchen war an.
"Only show known apps" muss AUS sein.
"Examine Applications.xml for unknown Apps" muss EIN sein.Dann sehe ich meine Apps und kann auch backup machen.
