Supported devices

The following device can be accessed directly with WIA-Loader:

Supported digital cameras

  • Nikon D70s
  • Nikon D80
  • Canon Powershot S5 IS

    • Supported scanners

  • Epson Perfection 1260

    • WIA-Loader should work with WIA capable web-cams too, but i have no devices to verify this.

    Cameras that don't have a WIA driver cannot be access directly. In this case you have to use a flash-card reader to import the pictures with WIA-Loader. Some features like camera control can't be used then.
    With Windows 2000 or older, these features are not usable as well.

    For canon cameras, you probably have to install a separate WIA driver from canon.
